A Proposal for the Consolidation of Ribbons

In recent times, there has been a proliferation of all kinds of ribbons that people wear (or stick on their vehicles as magnets) to show support for different causes. I think this ribbon thing is getting out of hand. I'm all for showing support for the troops, America, the environment, etc. But something must be done to streamline how we show our support for the multitude of things out there. (There are also too many of those damn rubberband wrist bracelets that people wear to show support for various causes, charities, organizations, etc. Lance Armstrong, damn you and those rubberbands! But that will be discussed in a forthcoming proposal in which I will call for the wearing of a new, and exciting office supply item.)

*The All-Purpose Brown Ribbon*

I propose a consolidation of all of the ribbon colors to enable people who are supporting several causes to just buy one color of ribbon. The proposed color of my new ribbon is brown. This is the actual color that would result if one actually blended all of the colors of existing ribbons.
